Partnering Towards Growth
Meet Ms Maitri Das
My mission is to provide a warm, holding space like a steady light that acknowledges the full spectrum of human emotion. I am committed to fostering self-awareness, personal enlightenment, and the skills needed for self-reliance, ensuring that every individual learns to be their own trusted guide and resource.
Education & Trainings
My clinical foundation is built on a BA (H) in Applied Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Amity University. To bring specialized depth to our sessions, I received my training in Schema Therapy from Australia and DBT from PESI UK.
Furthering my commitment to safe, holistic care, I hold a Certification in Trauma-Informed Care and am currently pursuing a Post-Graduate Certification in Drama and Movement Therapy, working as a facilitator to bring creative, embodied healing into the therapeutic space.
My Approach to Therapy
I see therapy as a collaborative partnership where your story takes center stage. As a relational therapy practitioner, I focus on building a connection that feels real, safe, and grounded in mutual respect. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach; instead, I bring together the structure of Schema Therapy with the fluid, expressive nature of Drama and Movement work. This allows us to explore not just what you’re thinking, but how your emotions and history live in your body and your relationships.
My space is intentionally trauma-informed and queer-sensitive, built on the belief that your mental health cannot be separated from the world you live in. We’ll use growth mapping to keep our journey focused, working toward the goal of you feeling confident enough to become your own therapist.
Beyond the therapy room, I’m a full-time dog mum to Zorro and a dedicated plant lover, my hobbies that remind me daily of the patience and nurturing that growth requires. Whether I’m exploring creative mediums or tending to my garden, I carry that same spirit of curiosity and humanness into our sessions, often with a bit of humor and a lot of heart.
